XIII. AUXILIARY CIRCUITS:A. THROTTLE AND BENCH POWER INIDCATOR LAMPS: The indicator lamps at the far end of the West End peninsula near the entry door are powered by 16 volt (doorbell) transformers located behind the throttle 120 volt on/off switches. There is one lamp for each of the two throttle circuits and one for the bench power. The transformers are connected to these circuits on the high voltage side by means of power cords plugged into the corresponding circuits. In the case of the bench power this is at the first receptacle in the circuit. One should be careful so as not to plug the cords into the wrong circuits and thus cause confusion. They are labeled. The lamps are 12 volt and thus burn too bright and hot with the 16 volt supply. To dim them 100 ohm resistors have been added to the circuits near the lamps to drop the voltage. Each of the transformers is wired independently, within one junction box, right behind the on-off switches by Coldwater. The grounds are connected together, connected to the transformer box, and to the common ground via the throttle box.
